Are you concerned about forgetting to switch your lights on, and off?
Well, a programmable timer might assist you. All Ollny Fairy Lights come with an easy-to-use remote control, so there’ll be no need to locate the control box to adjust the lights' settings. All you will need to do is use your remote controls.
Before using the remote for the first time, remove the protective clear film that covers the battery, this will then activate it (as seen below).
Section 1: The Remotes that Feature the ‘TIME(R) OFF’ Button
To program timer settings with these remotes, first, make sure the lights are in working status and then press the corresponding hour's button that you want your lights to be on to start the timer.
4H: 4hrs on, 20hrs off
6H: 6hrs on, 18hrs off
8H: 8hrs on, 16hrs off
To cancel the timer setting, just press the 'TIME(R) OFF' button one again.
Section 2：The Remotes that Feature the ‘TIME(R)’ Button
After turning on the lights by pushing the green ON button, press the 'TIME(R)' button to program the timer, which automatically defaults to 6 hours on and 18 hours off.
For example, if you press the 'TIME(R)' button once at 7:00 p.m., the fairy lights will come on, and stay on for 6 hours, then turn off at 1:00 a.m. the following morning. It will stay off for 18 hours and then turn on again at 7:00pm.
To cancel the timer, just press the 'TIME(R)' button one again.
Section 3: Through the Plug
Ollny string lights are available to adjustment through the plug/controller directly. Press and hold the button on the adapter for a few seconds to switch to timer mode.
4H: 4 hours on, 20 hours off, the plug's timer mode indicator light is red.
6H: 6 hours on, 18 hours off, the plug's timer mode indicator light is green.
8H: 8 hours on, 16 hours off, the plug's timer mode indicator light is blue.
For example, if you long press the button once at 7:00 p.m., the fairy lights will come on, and stay on for 6 hours, then turn off at 1:00 a.m. the following morning. It will stay off for 18 hours and then turn on again at 7:00pm.
To cancel the timer, just long press the button again.

Keep in mind: For setting the timer function, always start with how long you want your lights to stay ON for. The rest of the hours within the 24-hour time frame the lights will be off. The lights/timer will repeat this pattern until you stop or change the timer setting, or until remote battery requires changing.
