1. How many watts are plug charged Christmas lights?

6 Watts. The plug in christmas lights powered by 29V low voltage plug are safe to touch.

2. How long are the (icicle lights) drops? 

There are three different drop lengths, 30cm/0.98ft, 50cm/1.64ft and 70cm/2.3ft.

3. Can you dim the light?

It depends on the type of your lights, Ollny Christmas lights with remote control which has "+" and "-" button can adjust 4 brightness levels: 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%.

But Ollny led string lights without remote control or the remote control without "+" and "-" button cannot dim the light.

4. What is the distance between each light?

For Christmas String Lights, the distance between each light is 10cm/3.93in.

5. If I buy 2 sets can they be controlled with 1 remote or do I need to use two remotes?

Yes, a simple way is to see if the two string lights have the same twinkle modes, for example, two 8-mode string lights can use a remote control. Please make sure you point the remote at the control box to work.

6. Do these lights have to twinkle or can they stay on all the time?

Yes, you can adjust by remote or the button on adapter.

7. If 1 light goes out, do all go out?

No, if 1 light goes out, the rest will still work.

8. For usb vs plug-in, which type do you suggest when using for a power source?

They're both nice choices and both can be used indoors and outdoors. Just a kind reminder, USB port is not waterproof so please use it in a dry place.

9. Do the cool white lights look blue?

No, there is no blue in Ollny's cool white lights.

10. Do these lights smell bad?

No. Ollny lights are made of environmentally friendly material so they don't have any terrible smell.

11. How much distance is there between the adapter and the start of the lights?

Typically 9.8 feet/3m. The icicle lights and net lights are longer at 16.4 feet/5m. And it's shown clearly on our page and you could get it yourself on our website.

12. Can I join two sets of Ollny lights together and have them synchronized?

It depends on the specific model. For Ollny icicle lights, net lights and patio lights, they can be connected together. But for Ollny led string lights and rope lights, they can't be connected. If you are not sure the model you bought is connectable or not, please feel free to contact our customer service. We're always happy to help.

13. Could I cut this lights and throw the part don't need?

Sorry you can't cut it because it will affect other part of the lights. We suggest you to measure the length you need and choose the right length of lights.

14. Can the lights save the last lighting mode for next time use?

For USB string lights, they don't have memory function. But for plug-in string lights, no matter you directly unplug the light or press the button on the remote control to off the lights, it will remember the last lighting mode for next use.

15. What do the IP ratings mean?

Some Ollny outdoor lights have IP44, IP65, and IP67 ratings.

The IP44 rating means they are protected from tools and small wires larger than 1 mm, and they are also protected from water sprayed in all directions.

The IP65 rating indicates protection from total dust ingress and resistance to low-pressure water jets from any direction.

The IP67 rating signifies protection from total dust ingress and the ability to withstand immersion in water between 15 centimeters and 1 meter in depth.

Please note that all indoor use lights are typically rated IP20. Therefore, please reviewing each product description to confirm the specific IP rating.

16. Is it safe to touch?

All the Ollny LED decor lights we sell are designed and manufactured to comply with UK regulations. These lights are equipped with an adapter that functions as a transformer, converting the voltage from 220V to a safe and low 31V. Therefore, you can rest assured that Ollny LED decor lights are safe to touch.

17. Will they work under heavy rain and storm?

Most of our string Lights is IP44/IP67 waterproof rate, adequately waterproofed and also able to withstand bad weather. Perfectly for outdoor decorations. No fear of heavy rain or snow. But the UL plug is not waterproof, so please keep it away from rain.

18. What is the best way to store these lights?

It is recommended to use some cylinder shaped items to roll them up and them put them in a dry place.

1. Can I return the item?

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

KIND NOTICE: Please plug each set of lights in to make sure all the bulbs are working before you decorate.

2. Do you provide special discount for large orders?

Yes, we offer wholesale price for large orders. Please check our "Cooperate Purchase" page for more details. Or write to marketing@ollny.com for your request.

3. Can I get a discount on my order?

Yes. If you're new to Ollny, you could save 10% off for all products by subscribing to our newletters. And we also have special deal, discount for different festivals, shopping days and so on. Just stay tuned!

4. What are the payment options?

We provide paypal and credit card payment.

5. Can I cancel/amend the order?

Yes, you are able to cancel/amend the order before shipping. Please contact our support team at support@ollny.com for help. But sorry you can't cancel/amend the order after shipping.

6. My order is a gift. Are prices included?

We make sure that all our parcels only include a delivery note that will not show any prices.

7. What shipping do you use for orders on ollny.co.uk and how long will the shipping take?

We mainly adopt Free Standard Shipping(3-5 business days), but the actual shipping time depends on your address.

If it is during the peak sales season, the shipping time may be longer. You can check the latest shipping time in "Delivery".

8. What should I do if the parcel got lost halfway?

We strive to guarantee every parcel is delivered to the right address but accident can't be avoided occasionally. If your parcel is lost halfway, please feel free to contact us through "Returns and Refunds" or write to support@ollny.com. We'll solve the problem for you asap.

9. Why I can't get the lights to my country?

For orders on ollny.co.uk, we can only ship to UK. For orders on ollny.com, we can only ship to US. If you're from european countries, please direct to amazon to place the order.

10. I haven't received my confirmation email.

Thank you for providing a chance for Ollny to help to decorate your house.

Once your order is placed, a confirmation will be emailed to you within 30 minutes. Remember to check your junk/spam inbox, just in case.

If you have been given an order reference, this is confirmation that your order was successfully placed with us!

11. There is an item missing from my order.

If you are missing an item from your order, please do get in touch with our friendly folk who'd be delighted to help.

It would be really helpful if you can provide us with a photograph of the outer packaging and address label along with the item number you are missing.

12. How do I re-order a product?

To see what you have ordered before, you can log in your user account and see your order history.

If you haven't created an account, you can also see you order history on the invoice we have e-mailed you.

1. How does Ollny's warranty work?

Ollny provides 30-day return policy and one-year warranty for any purchase on our website.

2. Can I return the item?

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Learn more about "Returns and Refunds".

3. What should I do if I receive a wrong item?

We strive to deliver the right item to you but we can't guarantee 100%. If you received a wrong item, please feel free to contact us through "Returns and Refunds". We'll solve the problem for you asap.

4. Have you received my return?

All goods will be inspected on return and we aim to process your return within 10 working days, following receipt of your parcel. At peak times, please allow a maximum of 14 working days for your return to be fully processed.

Once we have checked your returned parcel we will issue your refund. It may take up to 10 working days for the refund to appear in your account. For that additional peace of mind we do send you an e-mail as soon as we action your refund.

If more than 14 days has passed since you returned your order and you have not heard from us please contact our Customer Experience team who will be really happy to help.

5. Is the return at my cost?

Customers are responsible for shipping costs to return non-defective products. The goods are your responsibility until they reach our warehouse and we recommend you use a tracked service that offers proof of postage.

If your product is faulty or damaged, please contact us first by submitting "Returns and Refunds" form. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Remote

1. My remote doesn't work. Can you help please?

Please point the remote within 16.4ft/5m of the control box to work and before using the remote, remove the protective clear film that covers the battery. If still not working, please send a message to support@ollny.com.

2. Is the remote rechargeable?

No, the remote control is not rechargeable. It operates with a small disk battery.

3. After setting the timer, will the timer function automatically start working?

Yes. The timer will continue to work until you cancel the timer setting. To cancel the timer function, simply press the 'TIME(R) OFF' button.

4. I already have a timer so that all my lights go on and off at the same time. Can i bypass this ollny light timer so i can use my timer?

We suggest that you use our built-in timer. Our built-in timer needs to be turned on via the "timer" button on the remote control. If you do not press it, the built-in timer won't work.

5. How do you set the timer if there are no 6h or 8h buttons?

Yes, please press "TIMER" button on remote to set the timer, the lights will work on for 6 hours and off for 18 hours. Press "TIMER" again will cancel the timer setting. If you have other questions please watch our instructional video on YouTube on how to set up a timer.

6. How do you set the timer function without a remote?

If your string lights are equipped with a controller, short press the controller button to adjust the lighting modes, long press the button of the controller to adjust the timer. If you have other questions please watch our instructional video on YouTube on how to set up a timer.

7. How does the timer work?

For example, most string lights have 3 timing functions:

6hrs On / 18hrs Off

8hrs On / 16hrs Off

6hrs On / 6hrs Off / 3hrs On / 9hrs Off

The timing function is that when you press the "6H", "8H" and "6639" keys on the remote control, the light on the control box will light up, indicating that it is working regularly.

If you want to turn the timer off. Press the "Timer off". When the red light goes out, the timer is off.

8. Does the timer go on automatically?

No, the newly purchased string lights is not set with a timer mode, so it will not automatically turn on the timer mode. However, if you manually set the timer mode for the light string, the timing function will automatically turn on and off at the specified times and continue to repeat until you cancel this feature.
